Tour Plan

Your French-speaking guide will be waiting to greet you at Kilimanjaro Airport with a sign displaying your names and the agency's logo. You'll then be driven to Moshi for a restful night at Chanya Lodge.

Accommodation: Chanya Lodge (dinner included).

Depart for the village of Marangu at the foot of Kilimanjaro. Discover the ancient Chagga caves used over 300 years ago in battles against the Maasai, followed by a tour of local coffee plantations where chameleons may be spotted. Enjoy a traditional Chagga lunch before hiking to Ndoro Waterfalls. Later, head to Arusha for the evening.

Accommodation: Outpost Lodge.

Depart for a full-day safari in Tarangire National Park, known for its baobab trees and large elephant population. Later in the day, drive to Mto wa Mbu to settle in for the night.

Head to Lake Natron, known for its ethereal, almost spiritual atmosphere. Enjoy lunch with a view of Ol Doinyo Lengai volcano, then hike to Engaresero Waterfalls, where you can swim.

Begin your day with a walk along the shores of Lake Natron to see flamingos at sunrise. Continue to Serengeti, entering through the northeast gate in the afternoon.

Spend the day exploring the Serengeti, visiting the hippo pool and kopjes, with an evening sunset celebration featuring wine and snacks.

Start with a sunrise safari in the Serengeti, then head to the Ngorongoro Crater for a final day of wildlife viewing, where you may spot the Big Five. Travel to Mto wa Mbu in the evening.

Visit the local market in Mto wa Mbu for a cooking class with Mama Joshua, followed by a tour of Majengo village. Experience traditional archery, basket weaving, and dancing.

Travel by tuk-tuk to Lazaro's Maasai boma to learn about Maasai culture. Then take a bike tour of Mto wa Mbu, visiting rice fields, a local bar, and meeting artists. Return to Arusha for the night.

Transfer to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Departure from Outpost Lodge.
