Lake Manyara National Park

Location: Northern Tanzania, about 125 km (2 hours) from Arusha
Size: Approximately 330 km² (two-thirds of which is covered by the lake)

Lake Manyara National Park is one of Tanzania’s most scenic parks, set between the Great Rift Valley escarpment and Lake Manyara, a shallow alkaline lake that attracts large flocks of flamingos and diverse wildlife.
Though smaller than other parks, it offers incredible biodiversity and varied safari experiences — from groundwater forests to savannah plains and hot springs.
